I managed to assemble it by myself but would encourage two for an easier job, which, by the way, is very quick.I placed this daybed in a room that is sometimes used as an office but when I have company I use it as a guest room. It is very classy looking and well made....heavier than I expected. The finish on the wood is beautiful and I have already gotten many favorable responses by those who have seen it.
